Poland v Colombia – World Cup 2018 – Live TV Coverage on ITV

Poland take on Colombia in Group H of World Cup 2018 this evening.

The match, staged at the Kazan Arena in Russia, will be shown live on ITV.

Having lost their opening fixtures on Tuesday to Senegal and Japan respectively, both of these teams will know they must win here to stand any realistic chance of qualifying from the group.

The sides have not met since a friendly in 2006, when Colombia claimed a 2-1 away win. Given the South Americans’ greater recent World Cup experience, they will be hopeful of another victory this evening.

However, the Poles have a team that cannot be taken lightly and were in impressive form in qualifying, comfortably topping a group containing the likes of Denmark, Romania and Montenegro.

In contrast, Colombia’s qualification campaign went right to the wire, with a 1-1 draw in their final match away to Peru, and Chile’s 3-0 defeat in Brazil, allowing them to finish one point clear of the Peruvians and Chileans in the final automatic position.

Mark Pougatch will be live on ITV and ITV HD from 6.15pm, where he’ll be joined by Gary Neville, Roy Keane and Ian Wright.

Match commentary comes from Jon Champion and Ally McCoist.
