Sam Matterface has been named the new commentator for Dancing on Ice 2018!

The TalkSport radio presenter and ITV Sport commentator takes over from Matt Chapman, who left the show after just one week.

A statement from ITV on Thursday said: “We can confirm that Matt Chapman has left the show, and wish him all the very best and look forward to him reporting at ITV Racing at Warwick this weekend.”

Matt left the reality TV show following a backlash from viewers over his commentating style and a schedule clash.

Sam, who has previously presented the sports news on Sky News and the Sky Sports News channel, will join the show from 6pm this Sunday.
