ITN Nominated for International News Emmy

ITN and Guardian Films are the only two British Producers to be Nominated at the prestigious International Emmy news awards 2007.

ITN was nominated for its Channel 4 News report Lebanon Endgame.

It goes up against Philippines broadcaster ABS-CBN’s Bandila: The Subic Rape Case Promulgation; Globo TV in Brazil’s Jornal Nacional: Caravana JN – Elections; and Romania’s Pro TV special Pro TV News: Tibetans at the Chinese Border.

Guardian Films was nominated in the current affairs category for its documentary Baghdad: A Doctor’s Story, which aired on BBC2.

The winners will be announced on September 24 in New York.
