ITN newscaster Shiulie Ghosh has signed on with Al Jazeera International.

Ghosh presents ITN’s weekend bulletins and some 6.30pm weekday editions.

Al Jazeera recently appointed former BBC World Service Trust and Arabic service executive Ibrahim Helal as deputy managing director of news and programmes for the new English-language channel.
