    Well lets see the new ITV Tyne Tees & Border Lookaround it will be interesting.Its a shame it be losing the name North East Tonight an institute to the North East for over the years and i hope they will have a special edition of North East Tonight to mark the end of the programme.But hey things move on in life good luck.

    The North & South editions of North East Tonight ended early on 13th February 2009.

    Promos begun airing following NET yesterday (18th Feb) suggesting both Lookaround and NET names will continue to be used for the new service.
