Nick goes 24

Former ITV presenter Nicholas Owen has presented his first shift for BBC News 24.

Nicholas joined the channel from the ITV Lunchtime News to present shifts mainly at weekends although he will appear during the week as cover too.

Nicholas presented the Saturday 10am-1pm shift meaning he also presented the lunchtime update on BBC One.
