The Budget 2012 live on BBC News, ITV1 and Sky News

At 12:30pm today, the Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osbourne will deliver his third budget since taking office in May 2010.

The BBC, ITV and Sky will have live coverage of the budget throughout the day.

Huw Edwards will present the BBC’s coverage of the chancellor’s statement, which will include analysis from Robert Peston, Stephanie Flanders and Nick Robinson.

Jon Sopel will be on College Green, Jo Coburn in Stratford-upon-Avon and Susannah Streeter on a trading floor in the City.

Plus there will be instant reaction from around the country including the City, business leaders and viewers.

The programme starts at 11:30am on BBC 2, and the BBC News Channel.

Over on ITV1, Alastair Stewart is joined by ITV’s business editor Laura Kuenssberg, economics editor Richard Edgar and political editor Tom Bradby.

The programme begins at 12:15pm – 2pm on ITV1.

Sky News’ coverage will begin with a special edition of Jeff Randall Live from 9am – 10am.

Edit: ‘Jeff Randall Live’ was cancelled due to deployments in the France shooting story, where police have cornered the suspected gunman in a house in Toulouse.

Then, Sky’s political editor Adam Boulton will host a Budget special of Boulton & Co from 10am – 11am.

Edit: ‘Boulton & Co’ was also cancelled due to the release of British hostage Judith Tebbutt — Jayne Secker presenting the breaking news coverage.

And Dermot Murnaghan and Anna Jones will present Sky’s main Budget coverage live from Westminster from 11am – 5pm with analysis from Ed Conway and Adam boulton.

All three networks will show the Chancellor’s speech in full and the response from the Leader of the Opposition, Ed Miliband.
