At Sky Sports, David worked as a sub editor on one of the Sports News production teams for six months before progressing to reporter and moving to Premiership Plus.

David was visiting Holland’s training camp when Ruud Van Nistelrooy finally signed for Man Utd and he managed to get an exclusive interview with the striker moments after the deal was announced.
