Sam’s career began at the BBC in 2003, when she won a place on the Student Sponsorship Scheme run by BBC News. Since joining as a trainee, she has worked on programmes including Newsround, Breakfast, Radio 5 Live and as an entertainment reporter for the BBC News channel between 2008 and 2010.
Sam has covered a number of major stories such as the July 7 terror attacks in London in 2005 and the UK General Election in 2010. She regularly writes for the BBC Three website, carrying out interviews and providing insight into current issues.
