I talked my way into a job at a radio station.

When was that?
1993

Why News broadcasting?
It’s faster and more immediate.

Where else would have viewers seen or heard you before?
Radio Stations in the South West and Dream Boats on Discovery Home and Leisure.

What is your Best on-air moment?
The handful of genuine scoops I’ve had, probably breaking the news that Alistair Campbell was leaving Downing Street.

What is your Worst on-air moment?
Hopefully hasn’t happened yet!!.

What would you like to do before your career ends?
Make more Documentaries.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Travel.

What advice would you give to anyone that would like to get into the broadcasting world?
Be enthusiastic, and show it.

Just get your foot in the door, don’t aim too high.
