Course in radio / television. Local radio, regional TV then on to national.

Course was in 1997

Why News broadcasting?
Always had a keen interest in current affairs, plus it’s creative and varied

Where else would have viewers seen or heard you before?
BBC Radio Nottingham, BBC Look East

What is your Best on-air moment?
As a radio news reader announcing the peace agreement in Ireland – new to the job and it felt very important!

What is your Worst on-air moment?
As a radio newsreader getting mixed up on the desk and having trumpet music play out as i started to read the headlines

What would you like to do before your career ends?
Alot more !

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Spend time with family and friends, and travel

What advice would you give to anyone that would like to get into the broadcasting world?
Persevere, get any experience you can – prove your dedication
