Why News broadcasting?
I’d wanted to work as a journalist since I was a child….I’d been a mad diary keeper and as I got older realised I was writing more and more about what was happening in the news as well as in my own life – so it seemed like a natural extension.

Perfect the art of interviewing!

Play with my two young children and stand on my head in my yoga class.

What advice would you give to anyone that would like to get into the broadcasting world?
Don’t assume it’ll be easy – and be prepared to pick up the phone to organise as much work experience as possible. And be persistent!

A big thanks to Julie for taking part.
