How did you get started in broadcasting?
Left college at started as a secretary for the Head of Radio 3.

Why News broadcasting?
BBC News best in the world.

Where else would have viewers seen or heard you before?
Presenting a BBC 1 Property programme called Trading Up.

What is your Best on-air moment?
Meeting Sir David Frost when they featured my newly built house on Through the Keyhole – great man, very professional and the programmes been running for 19 years.

What is your Worst on-air moment?
Worst and funniest really, falling over when ice skating for a weather outside broadcast on Breakfast weather.

What would you like to do before your career ends?
Present my own property programme, and other lifestyle shows!

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Play with my children who are 7 and 5 and Ski…I’m a snow bore!!!!

What advice would you give to anyone that would like to get into the broadcasting world?
If at first you don’t suceed, try, try again.
