Sky News HD Launches on May 6th

Head of Sky News, John Ryley has posted images of SKY News HD on his Skynews.com Blog.

In the blog, John says: “Starting on Monday 10th May, Premium Panels will use the widescreen format of HD to provide a rich context to the key stories of the day.

“The panels will carry live video feeds from developing stories, graphics that enhance our coverage and real-time text analysis from our specialists.
They will help make Sky News HD a premium service and a compelling television experience.”

Sky News HD will launch on Thursday 6th May at 9.00pm.
