Sky Sports will broadcast the Carabao Cup 2018/19 third round tie between Liverpool and Chelsea this evening.

The match takes place at Anfield, and will also be streamed live on Now TV and Sky Go.

The Reds have won only two of their past 14 games against Chelsea in all competitions, drawing 7 and losing 5, with both victories coming at Stamford Bridge.

This is the 57th meeting between Liverpool and Chelsea since the turn of the millennium, making it the most played fixture in English football in that time.

This is the eighth League Cup meeting between Liverpool and Chelsea and the first at the third-round stage since November 2000, when the Reds won 2-1 at Anfield with goals from Danny Murphy and Robbie Fowler.

Match coverage begins at 7.00pm on Sky Sports Football and 7.30pm on Sky Sports Main Event. Kick-off 7.45pm

Highlights of this match and the rest of the third-round ties will be shown on Quest from 10.30pm tonight.
