Liverpool host Leeds United in the quarter-final of the English Football League Cup this evening.
The match, to be broadcast live on Sky Sports, comes from Anfield, as the sides meet on this ground for the first time since October 2003.
That encounter finished 3-1 to the Reds, with Michael Owen, Danny Murphy and Florent Sinama-Pongolle getting on the scoresheet for Gerard Houllier’s men.
Much has changed since then for both clubs, with Liverpool winning the Champions League during the intervening period and Leeds spending many years in the footballing wilderness.

Sky Sports 1 will also air the clash between Manchester United and West Ham United on Wednesday evening, while Channel 5 will air highlights of all quarter-final games from 10.30pm on Wednesday night.
