Sky Sports will broadcast live Carabao Cup action this week as the first round gets underway.

Yeovil Town host Aston Villa on Tuesday evening at Huish Park, as the League Two outfit entertain the Championship visitors.

This is the first-ever meeting between the sides, and while Yeovil have never progressed beyond the second round, the Villans are five-time winners of the competition, though the last of those triumphs came in 1996.

Coverage starts at 7.30pm on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event with live streaming via Now TV and Sky Go.

Kick-off 7.45pm.

On Thursday, Sky will broadcast Sheffield Wednesday’s visit to Sunderland from 7.30pm on the same channels.

Highlights of the first round will be shown on Quest on Wednesday evening from 10.30pm, which will also include West Bromwich Albion v Luton Town and Nottingham Forest v Bury.

Quest TV is available on FreeView channel 37, Freesat 167, Sky 144, and on Virgin Media channel 172.
