Sky Sports will broadcast a double dose of Premier League football this afternoon as the race for a place in next season’s UEFA Champions League heats up.
The marquee match up sees Arsenal host Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium from 4.00pm
November’s reverse fixture saw the sides share the spoils in a 1-1 draw, with Olivier Giroud salvaging a point for the Gunners in the 89th minute after Juan Mata had given United the lead.
United lost this fixture 3-0 last season but that is their only defeat in the last 11 league meetings.
This will be the 50th Premier League match between these clubs. Arsenal have won 12 and United 22, with 15 draws.
Coverage starts at 3.30pm on Sky Sports 1 with live streaming on Now TV and Sky Go. Kick-off 4.00pm.
But before that Southampton travel to Liverpool, as the Reds look to avenge their Capital One Cup semi-final defeat.
The Reds have also failed to beat Southampton in all three league meetings since Jurgen Klopp became their manager. However, Southampton’s only Premier League win in their last five visits to Anfield came in September 2013 courtesy of a goal from Dejan Lovren, now at Liverpool.
Coverage begins at 12.30pm on the same channel. Kick-off 1.30pm.
Highlights of both matches will air on BBC One’s MOTD from 10.30pm tonight!
The final Premier League match of the weekend will also be shown live on Sky Sports 1 from 7.00pm on Monday evening as the league leaders Chelsea host Middlesbrough.
