The 2018/19 Premier League season got underway this weekend, which means the return of BBC’s highlight programme, Match of the Day.
The running order for this week’s edition is as follows: 1. Fulham v Crystal Palace; 2. Wolves v Everton; 3. Bournemouth v Cardiff City; 4. Newcastle United v Tottenham Hotspur.
5. Huddersfield Town v Chelsea; 6. Watford v Brighton and Hove Albion; 7. Manchester United v Leicester City.
Gary Lineker will be joined live on BBC One from 10.20pm this evening by Alan Shearer and Ian Wright, where they’ll have highlights of the seven games taken place so far, including the 19 goals scored.
The programme will be repeated on the same channel from 9.00am on Sunday morning and be made available via the BBC iPlayer from midnight on Monday (Tues morn).
The final three matches of this opening weekend take place on Sunday afternoon as Liverpool host West Ham United (1.30pm) and Manchester City travel to Arsenal (4.00pm) live on Sky Sports, and Southampton take on Burnley (1.30pm) in a non-televised fixture.
Highlights of all three games will air on BBC MOTD2 from 10.30pm, BBC One on Sunday night!
