A further four matches will take place in Euro 2016 today as Group C and Group D come to a conclusion.
Two matches will be shown live on the BBC, while the other two are shown on ITV this evening.
The action gets underway at 4.30pm on BBC One and BBC One HD with Northern Ireland’s clash with Germany at the Parc des Princes in Paris.
There have only been seven previous meetings between these nations, with the most recent being a friendly match in June 2005, when Germany registered a 4-1 win at Windsor Park despite being reduced to 10 men after 15 minutes.
Though they cannot boast anything like Germany’s impressive record in major competitions, Michael O’Neill’s men will hope to follow in the footsteps of the legendary team that performed so admirably at the 1982 World Cup, when a famous 1-0 win over tournament hosts Spain saw them defy expectations and top the group, ensuring they progressed to a second group phase, when the format of the World Cup was quite different to that of today.
Ukraine’s Group C clash with Poland is available on the BBC Red Button and the BBC Sport website from 5pm.
ITV will air Croatia’s clash with Spain from 7.30pm, while ITV4 will show Czech Republic against Turkey.
Mark Pougatch will be joined in the company of Slaven Bilic, Ian Wright and Lothar Matthaus. Match commentary for Croatia v Spain comes from Clive Tyldesley and Glenn Hoddle, while David Stowell and Andy Townsend provide commentary for Czech Republic v Turkey.
