The 2014/15 Barclays Premier League starts this weekend.
BT Sport and Sky Sports will broadcast exclusive live coverage in the UK, while the BBC will air extensive highlights of every Premier League games.
Sky Sports will also air highlights via Game of the Day, Match Choice, and Goals on Sunday.
BT Sport will broadcast a total of 38 games during the season – including 18 ‘top picks’. The network will air most of their games at 12.45pm on Saturday afternoons.
BT Sport kicks-off the new season with Manchester United’s clash against Swansea on Saturday 16 August. Jake Humphrey and his guests will be live on air from 12.00pm, kick-off 12.45pm.
BT Sport will launch a new Saturday morning show. “Matchday Live with Fletch & Sav”, sees Robbie Savage join commentator Darren Fletcher for a 2 hour build up programme.
The new show will kick-off BT Sport’s Saturday schedule at 10am ahead of its live Barclays Premier League fixture, with Fletcher and Savage presenting live from the grounds of the Barclays Premier League home club. The show will cover the biggest stories of the day and the build up to the day’s football across the UK, Europe and beyond.
BT will also show Burnley v Manchester United, Arsenal v Manchester City, Liverpool v Everton, Manchester United v Everton, Manchester City v Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United v Liverpool and Liverpool v Chelsea during August and November (full list below).
Sky Sports will show a total of 116 Premier League games over the season. Sky will show their games at 5.30pm on Saturdays, 1.30pm and 4pm on Sundays, and at 8pm on Mondays.
Sky will continue to air their football matches within the Saturday Night Football, Super Sunday and Monday Night Football programmes.
Saturday Night Football, presented by David Jones and Jamie Redknapp, will be filmed in front of a live audience and will air from 2.30pm – 3pm on Sky Sports 1, previewing the 3pm kick-offs, then Jeff Stelling and the Soccer Special panel will steer viewers through the 3pm kick-offs, before David and Jamie return at 4.45pm.
The main Saturday Night Football (SNF) programme continues to 8pm, where Sarah-Jane Mee takes over from David Jones and presents SNF Games of the Day and SNF Match Choice.
Ed Chamberlin will continue to front Sky’s Super Sunday. Ed and his studio guest will be based at the ground of the 4pm kick-off, which this week will be at St. James’ Park as the Magpies face the champions Manchester City. The 1.30pm kick-off between Liverpool and Southampton will also be apart of the first Super Sunday.
The Monday Night Football, which this week sees Burnley host Chelsea, will be fronted by Ed Chamberlin, Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher. The trio will review the weekend’s action and preview the up and coming match.
The BBC will air highlights of every Premier League fixtures throughout the 2014/15 season in Match of the Day and Match of the Day 2.
Now in its 50th year, Match of the Day will have highlights of every Saturday game, including the 12.45pm and 5.30pm kick-offs.
MOTD will be repeated on BBC One on Sunday morning’s and for the second season running, MOTD will also be available to view on BBC iPlayer.
Mark Chapman will present MOTD2 and MOTD2 Extra.
NBC Sports will once again make all 380 games from the Premier League available in the United States.
Lead Premier League commentator Arlo White will be joined by Lee Dixon on-site at Emirates Stadium for Arsenal v Crystal Palace at 12:30pm ET on NBC. White will be joined by Graeme Le Saux to call Sunday’s Liverpool v Southampton match at 8:30am ET on NBCSN.
All matches will be preceded and followed by Premier League Live pre- and post-match shows from the NBC Sports Group International Broadcast Centre in Stamford, Connecticut.
