The 2023 Rugby World Cup will take place in France from 8 September to 28 October 2023.

The tenth men’s Rugby World Cup will be held in nine venues across the country and is the first to take place entirely in France.

The opening game and final will take be held at the Stade de France, north of Paris.

The defending champions are South Africa, who defeated England in the 2019 Rugby World Cup Final.

Chile will make their first appearance and Portugal will return for their second appearance, 16 years after their first appearance in 2007.

Every single game will be shown live and exclusively on ITV in the UK.

The network will have teams on the ground in France and in the UK, from the massive opening match, France v New Zealand on September 8, through to the Final at the Stade de France in Paris on October 28.

Mark Pougatch will lead the coverage alongside Jill Douglas, who will host coverage from France along with David Flatman and Hugh Woozencroft.

Expert analysis comes from a formidable pundit line-up including Jonny Wilkinson, Maggie Alphonsi, Sam Warburton, Jamie Roberts, Brian O’Driscoll, Greig Laidlaw, Philippa Tuttiett, Bryan Habana, Sir Clive Woodward, Rory Best, John Barclay, Sergio Parisse, Gareth Thomas, Jim Hamilton, George Gregan, Sir Ian McGeechan, Lawrence Dallaglio, and Sean Fitzpatrick.

Co-commentators include rugby figures with a wealth of experience, including: Ben Kay, Ugo Monye, Shane Williams, Scott Hastings, Tom Shanklin, Gordon D’Arcy and Nolli Waterman.

Gabriel Clarke, Lee McKenzie and Topsy Ojo will provide reports, interviews and insights from the teams competing in France while match commentary comes from Nick Mullins, Miles Harrison, Johnnie Hammond, Martin Gillingham and Claire Thomas.
