The 2017/18 Premier League season got underway this weekend, which means the return of BBC’s highlight programme, Match of the Day.
The running order for this week’s edition is as follows: 1. Chelsea v Burnley; 2. Crystal Palace v Huddersfield; 3. Watford v Liverpool; 4. Arsenal v Leicester City.
5. Brighton & Hove Albion v Manchester City; 6. Everton v Stoke City; 7. West Bromwich Albion v Bournemouth; 8. Southampton v Swansea City.
Gary Lineker will be joined live on BBC One from 10.30pm this evening by Alan Shearer and Ian Wright, where they’ll have highlights of the eight games taken place so far, including the 25 goals scored.
The programme will be repeated on the same channel from 7.25am on Sunday morning and be made available via the BBC iPlayer from midnight on Monday (Tues morn).
The final two matches of this opening weekend take place on Sunday afternoon – live on Sky Sports – as Manchester United host West Ham United (4pm) and Tottenham Hotspur travel to Newcastle United (1.30pm).
Highlights of both games will air on BBC MOTD2 from 10.30pm, BBC One on Sunday night!
