ESPN Announces Prem League Fixtures 09/10

ESPN has today announced the first set of Premier League football Fixtures to be shown Live on their UK based channel.

ESPN, will launch on 3 August ahead of the start of the new Premier League season on 15 August 2009.

The Channel will be available on a premium subscription basis for ?9 a month to Sky Sports subscribers and for ?12 a month to other Sky customers. ESPN will appear on EPG Channel number 417 with a High Definition channel at number 443.

ESPN will show a total of 46 Premier League matches over the course of next season (2009/2010). Here?s the first 17:

Mon 24: Liverpool v Aston Villa (20.00)
Sat 29: Chelsea v Burnley (12.45)

    were are the other 39 fixtures for me its a waste of money because there are only three liverpool games being shown on espn

    The idea is that the coverage is for all not just Liverpool or the other so called “Top Four”. Football is about more than the boring “Big Boys”. If you just want Liverpool games buy a Season Ticket for Anfield.

    Another name for Setanta sports, just another way to rip us off. We pay over the top for Sky already. I really hope it folds. It’s all just greed.
