Spain v England World Cup

The 2023 Women’s World Cup final will take place on Sunday 20th August at the Stadium Australia in Sydney.

The match – between Spain and England – will be shown live on BBC One and ITV1 in the UK.

England are making their debut in a World Cup final after prevailing 3-1 in an end-to-end clash with Australia, while Spain have also reached the final for the first time after a dramatic 2-1 win over Sweden in the semi-finals.

Spain came second behind Japan in their group, but went on to defeat Switzerland, the Netherlands and Sweden to reach this stage. England topped a group ahead of Denmark, China and Haiti and then eliminated Nigeria, Colombia and Australia.

Kick-off 11.00pm.

BBC One TV Coverage

Gabby Logan will be live from Sydney at 9.45am on BBC One and BBC One HD, where she will be joined by Alex Scott, Ellen White, Fara Williams and Jonas Eidevall.

Match commentary comes from Robyn Cowen and Rachel Brown-Finnis.

ITV1 TV Coverage

Laura Woods will be live on ITV1 and ITV1 HD from 9.25am, where she will be joined in the studio by Karen Carney and Eni Aluko.
