Matthew Amroliwala leaves BBC News Channel for World News

Matthew Amroliwala presented his final BBC News Channel bulletin today ahead of his move to BBC World News.

He will present ‘Global’ on World News from next month, replacing Jon Sopel, who recently became the corporation’s North America Editor.

His fellow presenter, Jane Hill, tweeted today: “End of an era today. My last shift with Matthew after 13 yrs. 2-5pm @bbcnews. He’s off to @BBCWorld”
