Amanda Holden gives birth to a baby girl

Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has given birth to a baby girl after spending a few days in hospital.

A spokeswoman for Amanda Holden said: “Hollie Rose Hughes was born on 23 January 2012. She is healthy and weighed in at 6.1lbs but Amanda has been in a critical condition for the past three days.

“She is now stable and we expect her to make a full recovery very soon. We thank you for respecting their privacy at this time.”

Amanda married record producer Chris Hughes in Somerset on 10th December 2008. The couple already have one daughter named Alexa Louise Florence Hughes, who was born in January 2006.
