Channel 5 has today announced the launch date for Big Brother 2012.
The show, which will be the 13th regular series and the second to air on Channel 5, will launch on Tuesday 5th June 2012 – the day of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
The live show, which begins at 9pm, will be sandwiched between ‘Big Brother: The Auditions’ at 8pm and the spin-off show ‘Bit On The Side’ at 10.45pm.
The first eviction is scheduled to take place on Friday 8th June.
It was announced last week that Brian Dowling will return to host the main show, while Emma Willis, Jamie East and Alice Levine will return to Big Brother’s Bit On The Side.
Channel 5 also announced it will continue with the post-eviction live streaming show on their digital channel 5*.
