It’s week five of Dancing on Ice 2012 and this week the 11 remaining celebrities will perform to songs from the world of pop..

One Direction opened tonight’s show with a performance of their hit single “What Makes You Beautiful”.

The boys – Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson – will be back later in the show to perform their new single..

First up, dancing to Madonna’s classic hit single, Vogue, are Jennifer Ellison and Dan Whiston.

Phillip and Christine will return in a hour’s time (9:30pm) with tonight’s results, where the two celebrities with the least number of public votes will skate again in the skate-off and One Direction will perform their new single…

Phillip will now name the nine couples going through to next week and the two couples who will have to skate again for their survival..

The couples safe and skating next week are: Heidi and Andri, Jorgie and Matt, Andy and Vicky, Sebastien and Brianne, Matthew and Nina, Jennifer and Daniel, Chico and Jodeyne, Chemmy and Sean and Rosemary and Mark.

So, Sam & Alexandra and Charlene & Matt are in the bottom two and will have to skate again..

It’s now time for the judges to pick who they would like to save and see perform next week.. Louie saves Sam, Robin saves Sam and Katarina saves Sam..

Speaking to host Phillip Schofield after the vote, Charlene said: “You know I feel alright and I’ll tell you why.. I’ve had the most amazing experience, I have worked with the best wardrobe, hair and makeup department.. I have got to met these amazing pro-skaters, god love you, you take great care of us, I love all of you, you’re amazing!”

Dancing on Ice continues next Sunday at 6:30pm on ITV1 and ITV1 HD.
