X Factor judge Gary Barlow has apologised to Tpau’s Carol Decker after making negative comments about her singing capabilities.
Amelia Lily performed Tpau’s 80’s hit China in your hand on last night’s show, prompting Barlow to say “It’s actually really nice to hear it sung in tune.”
Moments after the comment, Carol tweeted: “Gary Barlow you twat! & I had to suffer a Take That concert for the sake of my kids this summer.”
Carol then Tweeted Gary: “What’s your f**king problem? I actually have perfect pitch.”
This morning, the boys’ mentor replied: “Sincere apologies for my comment. there was no need. And sorry you had to sit through TT show. The things we do for our kids!”
China in Your Hand spent five weeks at number one following its release in October 1987.
