I’m a Celeb 2014: Punter places £10,000 on Jake Quickenden to win

Home - Entertainment - I’m a Celeb 2014: Punter places £10,000 on Jake Quickenden to win

Jake Quickenden will win I’m A Celebrity according to one Ladbrokes customer who has wagered £10,000 on him doing so.

During Thursday night’s episode the male punter placed the bet at odds of 11/8, meaning he’ll walk away with nearly £24,000 should Jake be crowned as this year’s jungle King, and the X Factor star is now priced at just 11/10 to win.

Foggy’s fancied next in the betting at 5/2, while Mel’s odds are drifting out and she’s now chalked up as a 9/2 chance to win.

Unfortunately for Kendra she’s the odds-on favourite with the bookies at 4/5 to be axed next.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Two months ago when Jake was kicked out of X Factor he’d have been 1000/1 to win I’m A Celebrity, now he’s the red-hot favourite.

It’s only a matter of time before he’s quoted at odds-on.”
