Rita Ora is the early favourite to be this year’s winning X Factor mentor, according to Ladbrokes.
With the world’s worst kept secret now officially confirmed the bookies have reacted and give new judge Rita the edge at 9/4 to take home bragging rights in her first series, however without actually being able to ‘mentor’ when it comes to the singing it looks like Grimmy will struggle as the 3/1 outsider of the quartet.
Simon’s fancied at 5/2 to make it consecutive victories following his 2014 success with Ben Haenow, whilst the same odds are also on offer for Cheryl’s chances of glory with the bookies.
“Rita was the only good thing about The Voice so it’s not a huge surprise that Cowell has hijacked her from the BBC. As far as the odds are concerned she’ll be the star of the show and will mentor this year’s winner.” – said Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes.
“Other than young viewers It’s hard to see what Grimmy can actually bring to the panel as a judge.”
9/4 Rita Ora
5/2 Simon Cowell
5/2 Cheryl Versini Fernandez
3/1 Nick Grimshaw
