X Factor boss Simon Cowell has hinted that Take That frontman Gary Barlow might be too busy to return as an X Factor judge later this year.
Simon told the Sun Newspaper: “I always thought that with Gary he would have the Take That commitment in 2012.
“But there has to be a certain amount of unpredictability with this show, it is what keeps people interested.”
He added that none of the other 2011 judges — Tulisa Contostavlos, Kelly Rowland and Louis Walsh — were guaranteed a spot as a judge this year.
He said: “I don’t know if I will keep the panel the same yet. No one knows yet because I haven’t decided.”
Take That plan to release a new album later this year which could mean Gary and his band mates will be too busy promoting it.
