‘Simpsons’ Actress Marcia Wallace (Edna Krabappel) Dies at 70

Marcia Wallace, who voiced Edna Krabappel on ‘The Simpsons’ died last night at the age of 70.

Wallace has been on US TV since the 1970’s staring in ‘The Bob Newhart Show’, which ran from 1972 to 1978.

She also spent 3 decades on various game show panels like ‘Hollywood Squares’, ‘The $25,000 Pyramid’ and ‘Match Game’..

Her friend Cathryn Michon said Wallace passed at 9pm on Friday night due to complications from breast cancer of which she was a long and proud survivor and advocate for women and healing.
