The final of Apprentice 2012 – Tonight, 8:30pm, BBC One

The final of The Apprentice 2012 will take place tonight on BBC One.

The final four candidates – Jade Nash, Nick Holzherr, Ricky Martin and Tom Gearing – are called to the Institute of Directors in the City, where Lord Sugar asks them to pitch their business concepts to him right there on the spot.

It is the first time that the contenders hear what their competitors are putting forward, and Lord Sugar makes it very clear that he has no idea what one candidate is talking about.

Then it is down to business with Margaret Mountford, Mike Soutar, Matthew Riley and tough-talking Claude Littner as Lord Sugar’s four advisors scrutinise the candidates’ suitability to go into partnership with the Boss.

They face the ultimate grilling as their CVs, personal statements and business plans are criticised, picked through and blown apart.
