Calum Best could head into the Celebrity Big Brother final night as the favourite to win the show.

After attracting an incredible 78% of bets in the winner market in the last 24 hours, the bookies have been forced to slash his odds of glory to just 2/1, from 7/1, meaning he is set to overtake Katie Hopkins (13/8) at any minute.

The bookies are braced for a record-breaking night of Celebrity Big Brother action, with a substantial six-figure sum set to be wagered nationwide as the final plays out.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Calum has been the dark horse of the entire series and has slowly but surely crept into contention at the perfect time. It’s looking like an incredibly close final, with all five housemates including Michelle in with a chance.”
