Janet Devlin is the latest act to be booted off the X Factor 2011.
On yesterday’s live show, Janet and the fellow contestants sang two songs each – a song from their favourite artist and a guilty pleasure tune.
Janet sang MMMbop by Hanson and Under The Bridge by Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
Misha Bryan joined Janet in the bottom two and the pair had to sing once again for their survival.
Janet sang Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol, while Misha performed Out Here On My Own by Irene Cara.
Louis and Tulisa voted to send home Janet.
Kelly, mentor to both acts, refused to vote: “To be honest I can’t make a decision. I can’t, I have to pass it, I have to.”
As a result, Janet was eliminated with a majority vote and although his vote didn’t matter, Gary said he would’ve sent home Janet.
Justin Bieber and Kelly Rowland will perform on next week’s results show.
