HomeTV TalkX Factor Results 2011: Week 2 – Nu Vibe Voted Off

Nu Vibe is the fifth act to leave the X Factor.

Yesterday the 12 remaining X Factor contestants battled it out in a Love & Heartache themed live show. The acts then faced the public vote for the first time this series.

After The Wanted and Katy Perry performed on tonight’s show, Dermot, the judges and the X Factor acts took to the stage for the results.

Nu Vibe and Frankie Cocozza were in the bottom two and had to sing for their survival.

Nu Vibe sang Promise This by Cheryl Cole, while Frankie performed Daniel Merriweather’s Red.

Gary Barlow was first up and said: “I can’t believe I’m looking at Frankie and hopefully if you’re here next week it’s a long time before you’re singing a survival song again. I send home Nu Vibe.”

Kelly Rowland: “The act I’m sending home is Nu Vibe.”

Tulisa Contostavlos: “It’s pretty obvious, it’s a shame your both here tonight but the act I’m sending home is Frankie.”

Louis Walsh: “It’s tough neither act had a good night last night, it’s very tough guys but I’m going to save the act who I think has the most potential in the competition. The act I’m going to have to send home is Nu Vibe.”
