Rachel Crow is the latest contestant to be eliminated from the USA edition of the X Factor.
The 13-year-old made an emotional exit from the competition after she was sent home from the competition after judge Nicole Scherzinger sent the vote to deadlock.
Rachel was joined in the bottom two by Marcus Canty and had to sing for their survival in the final showdown.
Marcus sang ‘I’m Going Down,’ while Rachel performed ‘I’d Rather Go Blind.’
Following the performances, it was down to the judges to decide who should stay and who should leave the competition.
L.A. Reid voted for his own act Canty to stay, while Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul cast their votes in favour of Crow. That left the deciding vote to Nicola Scherzinger, who voted for Marcus Canty to stay.
With two votes each from the judges, the poll went to deadlock. Rachel had received the fewest votes from the America public and was therefore sent home.
