inTENsity are the latest contestants to leave X Factor USA.
inTENsity and Paula Abdul’s other group, Stereo Hogzz were in the bottom two and had to sing a final song as they attempted to keep their place in the competition, with judges Simon, Paula, L.A Reid and Nicole Scherzinger basing their decision on that performance.
Simon Cowell was first to cast his vote and said: “If I’m going to judge it by your two performances I’ve just seen, which I think I should, InTENsity is the the act I’m sending through, because I think the weakest one tonight was Stereo Hogzz.”
Paula Abdul added: “based on everything, with my experience on everything, and please, this is so difficult, the act I’m sending home is InTENsity.”
Nicole Scherzinger said: ‘I don’t want to do it, but I have to send someone home. I just felt the other group was more prepared, the act I’m sending home is InTENsity.”
LA Reid had the final vote. After praising both groups decided he would rather keep Stereo Hogzz.
inTENsity consists of 10 members who auditioned solo but were put together at bootcamp to compete as a group – the members are: Nick Dean, Francesca Duncan, John Lindahl, Emily Michalak, Arin Ray, Lauren Ashley, Ellona Santiago, Ma’at Bingham, Austin Percario and Emily Wilson..
